Our era of alarm systems started with the introduction of the Protect 5080 into the market at the beginning of 2012 – innovative and secure for those days. Equipped with a standard telephone connector and with the option of receiving radio signals but not to send them. The idea of having an outdoor siren which received a signal from the base station was, at this point of time, simply unthinkable.
A task which served as a further drive and awoke the delight of innovation. Olympia then introduced a further developed model at the end of 2012, namely the Protect 60xx. It was now possible to send signals and, as a result, corresponding outdoor sirens were offered to be integrated in the alarm system.
